Inmates rate prisons on Yelp

yelpUSA – Looking for a good dinner spot or the best sights to see while on vacation, is a great place to find reviews from travelers who have been there and done that and just couldn’t wait to tell someone about it.

Ahh, all inclusive with three daily meals, bars at every turn, and lavish yard for recreation.

Yep, Yelp has the inside scoop on the best jails too and inmates have plenty to talk about.

With 2 and a half stars behind bars. California’s San Quinton State Prison shanks inmates on the dining service.

One guy writes ‘the potatoes had lumps in them and the edges got cold fast.’ Hey buddy, maybe reflect on life decisions and mash the potato talk huh.

Another writes ‘…it’s not the Motel 6 or Best Western.’ Sounds like he’s looking for a mint on the pillow and turn down service.

Many inmates are using because they are scared to file with prison grievance systems due to the possibility of retaliation from prison staff. So they found another way.

The growing band of internet reviewers writes: ‘…employees at New York’s Sing Sing Correctional Facility are the ‘most unprofessional staff in the world and the rudest’, while at New York City’s Rikers Island, ‘if the roaches and rats don’t mess with you the correctional officers will.’

What’s the point? Who cares about prison conditions? Is anyone ever going to say oh that prison only got two and a half stars I don’t want to go there.

It’s prison never go there anyway.
