Outsmarting Bad Reviews on Yelp!

Yelp has a secret! It isn’t so much that they get traffic but that they use search engine optimization to get traffic and THAT is people find you on Yelp. When you let Yelp be your only search engine listing, you give them complete power to wipe you out. To make your mark you have to out optimize for your keyword and target audience. It’s not rocket science, and it is necessary to survive online. Here’s a little video that shows you how!

The best thing to do would be for all of us to join our local chambers of commerce and do our best to crush those pussies where it hurts most, their wallets. This is bullshit, and we need some help from lawyers, etc to get us to the best job.

Yes had the same thing happen to me and they are suppressing my free speech by not letting me respond to these negative reviews that they are not recommending, but they still show up in a google search! Two different names posted on the same day, from cities we don’t even service and both started out with the same words. Yelp should be required to email every business when a review is received. It is so easy . They have the business’s email addresses. Also I don’t even want to be listed with YELP, but they say in their help section they won’t remove you! I have complained everywhere I can. To the DOJ, BBB, FTC and of course to Yelp themselves. Also have complained all over facebook. Complain to the department of justice that when they don’t recommend your reviews, they still show up in google searches and your right to free speech is denied because you can’t respond if they are not recommending the reviews.
