Possible Rent Hike for Four Seasons; Yelp Gets Defensive

4seasons.jpgNEW YORK CITY — NYC dining institution The Four Seasons might be facing a major rent increase when their lease in the Seagrams Building ends in late 2016. The owners of the building estimate the value of the space to $125 per square foot, while the Four Seasons currently pays less than $20 per square foot. [Eater NY]

YELP — Yelp’s public affairs director outlines the ways Yelp combats fake reviews like these. Aside from a “review filter,” he says Yelp “runs sting operations to shame businesses participating in deliberate attempts to mislead consumers with fake reviews.” [HuffPo]

SAN DIEGO — An Eater tipster noticed that there is a clone of San Diego burger restaurant Bunz, A Burger Joint in Amman, Jordan. The copycat is called Bunz Burgers More and sports a very similar logo. [Eater SD]
