Visitor faces missing clothing crisis

What, no pants? Late last Saturday, a panicked visitor from Arlington, Va. ran into a La Jolla clothing store. Sweating profusely, Kyle Missbach explained that he and his wife were here for a friend’s wedding. When he had removed the dry cleaner bag from his black suit at his nearby hotel, he discovered his pants missing, and the wedding was to start in 25 minutes.

Ascot Shop salesman Andrew White was able to find a pair of black slacks that matched, but they were unhemmed and the store’s tailor had left. So White marked the length and his aunt and co-worker, Suzy Foster, hemmed them while the visitor got dressed in the store. Missbach wrote about his predicament applauded the San Diego store’s resourceful staff this week on Yelp.com.
