Yelp Hartford Hosts Prohibition Party April 30

Party like it’s 1920 at Yelp Hartford’s Prohibition soiree, going down April 30 at the Russian Lady. The themed gala features food from several local restaurants, Prohibition-era cocktails, live music and entertainment.

Enjoy bites from Agave Grill and Wood-n-Tap, FroyoWorld, NoRA Cupcake Company, the Russian Lady and The Tavern Downtown. Liquor, wine and beer will be furnished by Onyx Spirits, Olde Burnside Brewing Company, Westford Hill Distillers, Peel Liqueurs, Batch 19 and Cupcake Vineyards. The party also features live jazz, swing and burlesque performances, and guests are encouraged to dress in period costume.

The event is free, with a suggested $10 donation to nonprofit partner Hartford Preservation Alliance. RSVPs will be taken on Yelp’s event page. There will be no day-of entry.

The party starts at 7:30 p.m. The Russian Lady is at 191 Ann Uccello Street. For more information, visit
