Received first bad review in 3 Years after turning down marketing package

I manage a wine bar, and I was solicited to pay for their marketing package. Two days after I declined, I received our first negative review in over three years. It’s possible we received a bad review, but the timing is suspicious. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
