There is always a lot in the news about attracting women into the tech industry, but how can this be achieved?

1)  Support

In any male heavy industry it is important there is plenty of support for women who wish to get involved. Prominent women in the tech industry should do more to advocate roles. This could be women of international fame, such as Marissa Mayer and Sheryl Sandberg, or at a more local level, like a women working in businesses close by to you.
